Slot Missions in Hogwarts
Slot missions are an excellent method to earn gear weapons, equipment and other items. But they're also hard to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot allows the player to bring pistols into a mission. Some people make use of it to achieve certain achievements, particularly those who aim for Suit Only. Some players make use of the extra pistol to close gaps. It's important to remember that to select the pistols in this slot, you need to click on the button to select the appropriate category, such as machine guns in the alternate slot. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much simpler to accomplish. This combo increases the damage tick every 10 seconds from Concealed Weapon as long as it is positioned.
Smuggled Item Slot
The smuggled items slot a great feature that lets players bring tools and weapons into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently designed to resemble a pistol, which makes it difficult to distinguish the weapon slot smuggled by smugglers from other slots for gear.
The smuggle slot is able to hold an array of objects, ranging from simple concussion devices to weapons-grade explosives. These items can be found in a variety of hidden locations around the map. slot machines can also be retrieved at anytime. These items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that conceal small objects within scenery and objects directly.
Mission planning is an option in the form of episodic missions. It allows players to unlock different starting locations as well as smuggled items and gear slots prior to entering the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning expand. This lets players prepare the best task for each challenge.
Gear Slot
Early on in the game players will find their gear slots quickly get full, resulting in the dreaded "Your Gear Slots are full" message which prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the old items are cleared or more space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this issue. They offer an increase in inventory space to complete challenges missions. However, since many of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and can be missed, it can take some time to get the maximum number of inventory slots in the game.
The five Gear Slots of a player can be filled with up to 5 different gear types, which must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In begins. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as Grenades in a grouping) only takes up one Gear Slot.
Agency pick-ups
As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations let you store items that do not fit in your concealed slot for weapons or gear and retrieve them later.
These pickups are particularly useful when you have to pass through a frisk at the end of the game, or if you are carrying a weapon that would otherwise be suspect. However, you can only conceal one item per game at a pickup location for agencies.
This DLC adds new contracts for asset protection and security to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Then, go to the stated mission marker and identify a mob upon arrival.
